We are looking for an Application Monitoring and Optimization Specialist (m/f) who will join a team that supports market leaders in their transition to cloud services while gaining in-depth insight into the operations of global retailers, manufacturers, and consumers.

Our client is a product-oriented company operating in the retail industry, so you will have the opportunity to delve into the technologies used in the implementation of solutions. The product development team is located abroad, and the implementation part is mostly in Slovenia. You will join an international team and work with international clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyzing customer incidents on retail software.

  • Oracle database debugging, data verification.

  • Proactive debugging of databases (Oracle).

  • Database monitoring (Oracle).

  • Application monitoring and optimization.

  • Application debugging (Java, javascript, C, PL / SQL, Bash, web services, ().

  • Optimization of DB queries and procedures (Oracle).

  • Creating DB reports (Oracle).

  • Development of DB procedures and scheduler procedures (Oracle).

  • Cooperation with international development and product teams.

  • Providing technical support to customers.

Key qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.

  • Very good knowledge of databases (SQL, PL / SQL)

  • Basic knowledge of Linux (Bash)

Advantages are:

  • Desire to learn new programming languages and technologies.

  • Knowledge of one of the programming languages (PL / SQL, Bash, Java, Javascript,…) is desirable.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Basic knowledge of technical and functional consulting work, trade activities and logistics, understanding of retail supply chain solutions is desirable (but not a condition).
