Our client is looking to welcome a Senior Software Engineer to one of their computer vision teams, who will play a key role in developing great tooling that will help them create vast amounts of data needed to train best-in-class computer vision and deep learning models.

What will you be doing?

  • Build and maintain labelling tools and applications, APIs, database models.

  • Build software to automatically collect, transform, generate and filter data.

  • Deliver excellent code quality, from unit testing to coding to quality assurance.

  • Communicate and interact with other team members and departments, and maintain visibility over agreed plans.

  • Have a problem-solving attitude, i.e., not just focused on writing code, but on tackling complex problems and determining how best to solve them.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 7 years of software development experience (expert in Golang and Python),

  • at least 3 years of experience in a senior and/or lead position,

  • knowledge of AWS services,

  • and databases (SQL and NoSQL),

  • experience with Linux, Git, GitLab CI/CD,

  • project management tools like Jira and Confluence,

  • at least a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Nice-to-have skills and experience:

  • With Scala, ProtoBuf and gRPC,

  • with Typescript, Angular or React to some extent,

  • knowledge of other programming languages,

  • with open-source projects/contributions experience.
